All about me
Bio
Born in 1967 I have lived in Spalding all my life until the start of 2023 when I have moved to Amble on the Northumberland coast. My work and private life have brought me in close contact with all things agricultural and rural. As an agricultural Bank manager and out of personal interest I visited hundreds of farms throughout eastern England, from Northumberland down to Suffolk and the edge of London, and visited many as a friend. I have also helped many people in the past informally as well as more formally as a call handler and caseworker for Lincolnshire Rural Support Network until early 2023. This included helping people with mental health, but also the practical issues that often hurt people such as finances, relationships and misfortune. I am a keen supporter of rural business and people.
I have a wide interest in rural and social history which I have had more time to develop and share since 2024.
